Sixbusinesses.Sixdesign languages.
A dental clinic and a supplement brand should not look like each other. Below are six businesses I designed from scratch — each one a working page you can open and scroll, not a picture of one. Watch the page repaint itself as you go.
The index
Six trades. Six arguments about what the business is.
THREADS & THREAD
Restraint is the price tag. One typeface, enormous margins, almost no colour — the emptiness is what says expensive.
- Centred masthead with wide letter-spacing, the way a printed label sits
- No rounded corners anywhere — squared edges read as considered, not friendly
- Product prices set at body size, never enlarged; loud pricing reads as discount
Bengaluru
Clothes that don't announce themselves.
Twelve pieces a season, cut in Bengaluru from handloom cotton.

FORGE
Loud on purpose. Near-black, one acid colour, hard edges and type at full volume — the page should feel like the last set.
- Condensed type at 58px with negative tracking, so headlines hit before they're read
- Exactly one accent colour, used only on things you can click
- Zero rounding and zero shadow — nothing soft in the whole build
Bengaluru
Train hard. Read the label.
Lab tested. No proprietary blends. Every milligram printed.

Clarity Dental
Calm and high-trust. Sober blues, generous rounding, and the phone number never leaves the screen — anxiety is the thing being designed against.
- Prices published on the page, because hidden pricing is what people fear
- Every corner rounded to 18px and every button to a full pill
- A booking card that sticks to the viewport instead of a buried contact page
Bengaluru
Dentistry without the dread.
Prices published, treatment explained before it starts.

Harvest Room
Warm and off-grid. Terracotta, italics, and a menu set like a printed card — a room you'd sit in, not a chain you'd order from.
- Menu typeset as a card with leader dots, not as a web table
- Corners at 4px — softened but still handmade, never app-like
- Directions and hours before anything else; that's the actual conversion
Bengaluru
Coffee, and somewhere to sit.
Eleven chairs, filter from Chikmagalur, breakfast till it runs out.

LUMEN
Get out of the pictures' way. Near-black, chrome shrunk to almost nothing, and the whole page driven by scroll so the work moves the way a reel does.
- Interface type at 11px in mono — the images are the only thing at full size
- The hero frame settles out of a zoom as it loads, the way a lens does
- A gallery that scrolls sideways under a vertical gesture, with a cursor tag on hover
Motion work: A pinned cross-fade sequence and a gallery that scrolls sideways

Maru
Softness you can feel in the motion. Blush and sand, wide airy serifs, and transitions slow enough that the page itself feels like an hour off.
- Nothing snaps — every transition runs long and eases out, on purpose
- The treatment list opens in place rather than navigating away
- A drifting warm gradient behind everything, so no screen is ever inert
Motion work: Drifting gradient field, in-place expanding treatment list, slow eases

Motion, where it earns it
Two of these are built to show what a page can do when it moves.
Not animation for its own sake — a photographer's work should arrive the way a reel does, and a spa should feel unhurried before you've read a word. The other four stay still on purpose. A dentist's site that swoops is a dentist's site nobody trusts.
None of these is your business. That's the point.
Yours gets its own argument — its own palette, typeface, pace and structure, built from what you actually sell and who actually walks in. Tell me the trade and I'll show you the direction I'd take before you pay anything.
Every brand on this page is invented, and every price on them is made up — they exist to show a design language, not to represent a real business. The imagery is generated and abstract, not photography.
